What should I expect from my first session?

In your first session you can expect about 15 minutes for paperwork and interview about areas of concern and what you want out of your session. Every massage is personalized to address each client's unique needs and areas of concern. Sessions will last 30 minutes, 60 minutes, or 90 minutes. You will be asked to undress on the table to your level of comfort and will be fully covered throughout the duration of the massage. Only the area that is being worked on will be uncovered. Communication is always open between you and your therapist, who will continually check in with you about pressure and comfort. Once your session is over, your therapist will leave the room and allow time for you to get dressed. A brief exit interview will be conducted to check in on your comfort level and answer any questions you may have.

How do I book an appointment?

Appointments can be made by clicking the “Book Now” button in the top right corner of the screen. They can also be made by emailing ebbtidemassage@gmail.com or calling Sea Glass Spa at 207-633-6800.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Be sure to be properly hydrated before your massage session, and don’t have a full meal in the 2 hours prior to your appointment. Instead, eat lightly and drink plenty of fluids. Come ready to relax and get the most out of your session!

What is your cancelation policy?

If you need to cancel your appointment we ask for a 24 hour notice to avoid being charged a cancellation fee. Our cancellation fee is 50% of the price of your session. No-show’s will be charged the full amount of their scheduled massage, at their scheduled appointment time. Exceptions include emergencies or sudden illness. Ebb Tide Massage reserves the right to refuse service anytime.
